JSON to CSV
Convert JSON into a CSV or TSV table for Excel or Google Sheets. Your data is never uploaded.
Processed on your device: your file never leaves your computer
Up to 50 files, 50 MB max each.
What JSON to CSV does
JSON to CSV turns a list of JSON objects into a table: each object becomes a row and each key a column. Nested objects become dotted columns (for example address.city) and lists become numbered columns (tags.0, tags.1). Choose comma, semicolon or tab (TSV), and add the UTF-8 mark so Excel shows accented characters correctly.
Limits
- Up to 50 files at a time, up to 50 MB each.
- With Pro: up to 500 files per batch.
- A job that takes longer than 2 minutes is stopped so it doesn't freeze your device.
- Processed in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Which JSON does it accept?
A list of objects, a single object, an object wrapping a single list (like {"items": [...]}) or a list of lists, which is written as rows as is. If the JSON has a syntax error you will see a warning.
Why does Excel show broken accents or everything in one column?
Keep the Excel-compatible option checked (it adds the UTF-8 mark). If your Excel uses a comma as the decimal separator, as in much of Europe and Latin America, choose semicolon.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, in the background, and the file never leaves your device.
