Privacy is at the core of Fileflect. This page explains what data we handle, why, and for how long.
1.Files processed on your device
Images and PDFs you convert, compress, merge, split or reorder are processed inside your browser. Those files are never sent to our servers and we have no access to them.
2.Files processed on our server
Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF, TXT), PDF to Word and, only when your browser can't do it, some images are processed on our server over an encrypted connection. They are processed in memory or temporary storage and deleted within 1 hour at most. We don't look at them, share them or use them for anything else.
3.Data we store
For each conversion we only store metadata: input and output format, size, date, whether it ran in the browser or on the server and, if you are signed in, your user. Never the file's name or content. If you create an account we store your email (and your name and picture if you sign in with Google) and your subscription status.
4.Payments
Pro payments are processed by Mercado Pago (or another payment provider in some countries). We never receive or store your card details; only the subscription id and status.
5.Cookies and local storage
We use necessary cookies to remember your language, your country for pricing and your session, and local storage for the light or dark theme. Free-plan users see Google AdSense ads, which may use their own cookies; you can manage them in Google's ad settings.
6.Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data and your account through the contact page. Cancelling a subscription doesn't delete the account; if you want it deleted, ask us and we will.
