What JSON to TOML does
JSON to TOML turns a JSON object into a TOML file with tables ([section]) and arrays of tables ([[items]]), the config format of tools like Cargo, Poetry, Hugo or pyproject.toml. Keys with spaces or symbols are quoted.

Frequently asked questions
Which JSON can be converted?
An object at the root. TOML doesn't allow a list or a bare value as a document: in that case you will see a warning explaining it.
What happens to null values?
TOML has no null: keys set to null are left out. A null inside a list can't be represented and you will see a warning.
Is any information lost?
Apart from nulls, no: strings, numbers, booleans, lists and nested objects are kept, and the TOML reads back the same.
