Rotate image
Turn your photos 90° or 180° and mirror them, in batches.
Processed on your device: your file never leaves your computer
Up to 50 files, 50 MB max each.
What Rotate image does
Rotate image turns your photos 90° right, 90° left or 180°, and can also mirror them (horizontal flip) or turn them upside down (vertical flip). The orientation saved by the camera is applied first, so the result is exactly what you see on screen and looks the same in every app. It works with JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF and HEIC, in batches, and keeps the format (HEIC is saved as JPG). Everything is processed in your browser.
Limits

- With Pro: up to 500 files per batch.
- A job that takes longer than 5 minutes is stopped so it doesn't freeze your device.
- Processed in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
My photo looks fine on my phone but sideways on my computer. Does this help?
Yes. Choose “Just straighten”: the orientation saved by the camera is applied and the photo stays upright in every app, without turning it further.
Do I lose quality when rotating?
PNG, BMP, TIFF and GIF lose nothing. JPG, WEBP and AVIF are saved again at high quality (92), a difference you won't notice in practice.
Can I rotate and flip at the same time?
Yes: the image is rotated first and flipped after. For example, 90° right with a horizontal flip.
Is the EXIF data kept?
No: saving the rotated image removes the metadata, including GPS location. To remove metadata without touching the image, use “Remove EXIF metadata”.
