What Read a QR code from an image does
The QR code reader finds the code in a photo or screenshot (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP or AVIF) and shows its content so you can copy it: a link, text, Wi-Fi details or a contact. It also reads light codes on dark backgrounds and tries several scales to find small codes in large photos. The image is analyzed in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Why can't it find the code in my photo?
Usually the photo is blurry, taken at a steep angle, or the code is cut off. Crop the image around the code or take the photo straight on in good light.
Does it open the link automatically?
No. It only shows the content, so you can check where a link goes before opening it.
Can it read several codes at once?
You can choose several images and get the content of each; one code is read from each image.
