Up to 50 files, 200 MB max each.

What Join videos does

Put the clips of a trip, the parts of a recorded class or several phone takes together into a single video. Add the files, put them in order with the arrows and download the result as MP4 or WebM. The final video takes the size of the first one: clips with another shape (vertical next to horizontal, for example) are fitted with black bands, never stretched or cropped. The sound of all of them is matched and, if a clip has no sound, that part stays silent. Everything happens on your device: the videos aren't uploaded to any server.

Limits

  • Up to 50 files at a time, up to 200 MB each.
  • With Pro: files up to 500 MB and up to 500 per batch.
  • A job that takes longer than 30 minutes is stopped so it doesn't freeze your device.
  • Processed in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Can I join videos of different formats or sizes?

Yes: you can mix MP4, MOV, MKV and WebM, and horizontal and vertical videos. The result has the size of the first one in the list (1080p at most) and the others are centred with black bands.

How do I change the order?

The videos are joined in the order of the list. Use each file's arrows to move it up or down before joining.

Is quality lost?

The whole video is re-encoded at high quality so the parts fit together. Clips larger than the first one are scaled down to its size.

Is there a limit?

Up to 200 MB per video on the free plan (500 MB with Pro), 2 hours in total and 30 minutes of processing. The result is built in your device's memory, so on phones it's best to join short videos. Your browser has to be able to decode each video (H.264 isn't decoded in some browsers without proprietary codecs).
