Up to 50 files, 200 MB max each.
What Add page numbers to a PDF does
Add page numbers puts a number on every sheet of a thesis, contract or case file. Choose a corner or the center, top or bottom, the format (1, "1 / 10" or "Page 1 of 10"), the size and the first number; you can leave the cover unnumbered. Numbers are written as real text and stay upright even when a page is stored sideways. Number several PDFs at once.
Limits

- With Pro: files up to 1 GB and up to 500 per batch.
- A job that takes longer than 5 minutes is stopped so it doesn't freeze your device.
- Processed in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave the cover without a number?
Yes. Tick "No number on the first page": numbering starts on the second sheet with the number you choose (for example 1).
What about landscape or rotated pages?
The number is placed according to how the page looks when opened: bottom center is bottom center on a landscape page or a scan stored sideways too.
Can I start at another number?
Yes. Type the first number, for example 15 if the PDF continues another document. The total in "Page N of M" adjusts by itself.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Numbers are added in your browser and your files never leave your device.
