What ID photo maker does
Get a photo ready for your ID card, passport, visa, driver's license or membership card: pick the size, frame your face with the guide and download two files: the photo alone at 600 dpi, ready to upload or print at its real size, and a 10 × 15 cm (4 × 6 in) sheet with as many copies as fit and cutting lines, to print at any photo lab or kiosk for the price of one print. Everything happens on your device: the photo isn't uploaded to any server.
Limits
- One file at a time, up to 50 MB.
- With Pro: up to 500 files per batch.
- A job that takes longer than 2 minutes is stopped so it doesn't freeze your device.

Frequently asked questions
Which size do I need?
It depends on the document and the office. The most requested: 3 × 4 cm (Brazil: RG, CNH and work card; also many procedures in Chile, Colombia and other countries), 4 × 4 cm (many procedures in Argentina), 3.5 × 4.5 cm (passports and visas following the international ICAO standard, such as Mexico's and European ones), 2.5 × 3 cm ("tamaño infantil" in Mexico) and 2 × 2 inches (US passport and visa). Always check the size and requirements with the office asking for it: many ID cards are now photographed on site.
How do I take a good photo?
Facing the camera, with a neutral expression and mouth closed, no sunglasses or cap, against a plain light wall, in even light (no shadows on the face), with the camera at eye level, a meter or more away. When framing, the head should fill the oval: the crown near the top edge and the chin at the bottom of the oval, with the eyes on the dotted line.
How do I print the sheet?
Order a 4 × 6 in (10 × 15 cm) print at a photo lab, kiosk or photo printer, without cropping or fitting: the sheet already has that size and the copies are exact. Then cut along the grey lines. If you print the single photo, choose "actual size" or 100 % in the printer: the file carries its resolution (600 dpi).
Does it change the background or retouch the face?
No: the photo is cropped and scaled as it is, without retouching. If the office asks for a white or light blue background, take it in front of a wall of that color. Transparent parts of a PNG become white.
Is there a limit?
One photo at a time, up to 50 MB (JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF or iPhone HEIC). If the framed area has too little resolution to print sharp (under 300 dpi), we tell you.
